Simple bobbles for bobble haters
Have you been looking for a simple bobble stitch?
I’m a little obsessed with bobbles! I know, some of you don’t like knitting bobbles, and I get it, they can be a bit of a faff, but if you’ve got frustrated with bobbles in the past, then give these a go! These bobbles are a great beginner-friendly bobble stitch, but also work if you just don’t enjoy the back and forth of regular bobbles. They don’t require you to turn your work, and I share my tips on how to keep them neat and tight. I hope it helps!
Written Instructions:
Knit to the point you wish to make your bobble.
(K1, p1) x 3 into the same stitch without removing it from your LH needle. Only drop it from your left-hand needle once the last purl stitch has been completed. You have created 6 bobble stitches on your right-hand needle.
With your LH needle, lift the second stitch on your RH needle over the first and off the needle. Repeat this a further 4 times, always slipping the second stitch over the first.
Bobble completed.
